In building these two rockets, and the fact that they are both entirely composite rockets, I am suffering from a bit of a learning curve with the materials and processes involved. I have learned that trying to buy cheap materials to take the place of an expensive material is not a very good idea, and it is costing me quite a bit of time, which is frustrating with my deadline bearing down on me. I have also been having a bit of difficulty getting my airframe tubes off of their mandrels, which is costing me days and days. I should be much further along by now than I am, but I have not given up hope. Things are taking much longer than I thought they would, but I have not given up. I have one solid weekend left to work on it, and four week-nights. This will be down to the wire, if I am able to finish at all, but I am going to fight like crazy to make it.
