Along with a partner, I own a website for rocketry. This is the main site. This entire site has been re-worked. The auctions software was something that we purchased, and the code was a mess, there was no consistency in it, hardly any of it was made using CSS, and there was even a back-door built into it that allowed access to our database. We have re-written so much of the code, it no longer comes even close to resembling what we purchased. There are several sub-sites, including "Jim Ball's Scale Data Library", "Rocketry Online Auctions", "Rocketry Online Presents", and "Rocketry Online Auctions". |

Along with a partner, I own a website for rocketry. This is a sub-set of it - a collection of concepts and ideas; a knowledge base for the design and construction of low, mid and high powered model rockets. |

This is my hobby. While I enjoy making web pages, graphics, and applications, I have not yet found any one thing that gives me greater satisfaction that this hobby. From concept and design, to construction, and finishing, it's all about what you can do. I really do enjoy designing my rockets just as much, if not more-so than I enjoy flying them. It is a blast, and so far, I have only run into great people in this hobby. Mixed with a bit of camping, getting your hands dirty, and 'roughing it', is perhaps one of the most technologically complex hobbies around. It seems like it is really simple, but I assure you that anyone that has been doing this sort of thing for a while is no slouch, and is not an idiot. This site, along with the nelson site, are probably my most shining examples of my scripting abilities, but this one makes a lot more sense. |
